Company dedicated to online medical appointments, Doctena announces several changes in its management.
Patrick Kersten, founder of the start-up, hands over his position as CEO to Alain Fontaine, co-founder of Doctena in 2013. Patrick Kersten will remain a member of the Board of Directors. “The time has come to return to my roots for a new innovative project and hand over the reins of the company to my co-founder to attack the next heights, including the introduction of new services,” he says, in a press release.
Alain Fontaine, who was previously CIO, took up his new position on September1.
The third co-founder, Marc Molitor, is stepping down as chairman of the board in order to become more involved in day-to-day business and support the new CEO, particularly as commercial director leading Doctena’s sales and marketing efforts.
Marc Feider is now non-executive chairman of Doctena
