Since its launch last September, Doctena.lu has attracted no less than 30,000 patients who have used the online service which offers patients the ability to search and ask for an appointment with doctor in just 3 clicks.
“To simplify making appointments, we have made significant efforts in research and development.” said Patrick Kersten, founder of Doctena. Finding solutions, tools and processes that integrate with existing environments is a priority for the Doctena team.
Luxembourg’s Ministry of Economy has now recognised the Doctena approach based on the use of new technologies as innovative and worthy of its support. Additionally, Luxinnovation, through its high experience in innovative projects, identified the project and helped to qualify it.
In the meantime, Doctena.lu also joined the Biohealth Cluster that brings together innovative companies in the field.
“This support rewards the effort of an entire team dedicated to the patient and physician” added the founder.
It is now possible to apply for appointment online and have confirmation the same day.
Patrick Kersten is known for having helped launch the Monster.lu team, then he created atHome.lu which e managed until 2012.
