A recent survey by Doctena found that nine patients out of ten rated the online medical booking app four or five stars.

Almost 9,000 patients took part in Doctena’s annual satisfaction survey – three times more than last year. The survey was aimed at patients who made an online booking on the Doctena platform in 2017. The resulting overall score was 4.4/5 and a recommendation rate of 96%.

Indeed, nine out of 10 patients gave the online booking app four or five stars and they deemed it to be either easy or very easy to use. This is backed up by the fact that only 4% of respondents said they had had to use Doctena’s technical support. Meanwhile, 96% of patients surveyed would recommend the tool to friends and family.

Moreover, 66% of surveyed patients admitted to having already booked three times or more via Doctena. Of those who said they did not book the majority of their medical appointments on Doctena, 70% said they would only do so if all of their healthcare providers were listed on the app.

On why they use the service, 96% of patients said that it meant they did not need to call one or more surgeries, 89% because they could control the time of the appointment, 87% because they could see their doctor’s availability and 76% because they get a reminder text message before the appointment.
